You can check whether your phone is supported by Tpad mobile service or not on Tpad website itself.
If it is not supported, you need not to worry since you can use their Pc application.(PC softphone) See this link.

Don't trust with this free call business. I did and tempted to buy TPAD credit but after purchase I am unable to make any single calls. As you know no Customer care number for TPAD only you can email them but they ignored about user complaints. I neither get a free credit $1 or $2 as mentioned in this page. Only lost my $10

Tpad is one of the leading voip provider. They will not run away with your money. There is no need to worry so much.
Actually Tpad is facing technical problem. That is the reason you are not able to make calls using Tpad.
After the problem is fixed, you and other readers of this blog will surely get credit in their account.
Just wait for few days.
