Youcall : Free 1 Euro VOIP Phone calls

Many people have been asking me about offers and methods to make free calls to India and Pakistan. So this post about Youcall should help you a bit. New users to voip enjoy large number of benefits like free credit, minutes etc. Youcall is doing the same. Youcall is a voip provider, I guess run by German company Gober. Youcall is basically Phone to Phone service. These are web initiated phone calls.

Youcall is giving 1 euro voip free credit to new users just for registration. One can use this Youcall credit to make call to India, Pakistan, UAE, Dubai or any other country. The duration of call will depend on the rate for particular country. If you call India landline, from Canada it will lasts for 10 minute.

One can also make 5 minutes call without registering directly from Youcall website.

Lets see how can you make call to Pakistan or any other country using Youcall.

1. Visit Youcall.
2. Register for Youcall. In the form fill all the details, in phone number column enter your or any other phone number. The call can be placed from any phone, not necessarily from the phone you register.
3. After that you have to verify by clicking the activation mail they will send you.
4. Once you log in to your account, you will see 1Euro balance. This can be used to make call to any country.
5. To make call, enter your phone number, destination number. Click call.
6. They will show you activation code on your screen, Youcall will first call you. You have to enter this activation number once prompted.

I tried Youcall service for calling India to India that too worked. I have added a screen shot. So this service should work for calling any country from any country viz India, Pakistan, Dubai, Myanmar etc.

I guess Youcall log your IP address, your phone number (as they ask you to activate it). I was wondering if one can create multiple accounts with same phone number, then this service could be used to make unlimited free calls to India or any other country.

Update : Free Calls can be made to anywhere in the world, yes Free calls to India too. Tabrio is offering free 5$ trial credit to make absolutely free calls. If you have not made use of the offer, check the Post about Free 5$ credit by Tabrio.

Hi Mridul,

I know about this problem. There must be something wrong about this.

You may try calling from Landline to a landline. It works perfectly. Even some mobile works (Airtel 9818..).

Once you have activated your number, you can make multiple accounts and make more free calls using same number.

Are those credit unlimited?

June 3, 2008 at 9:23 PM

Actually, this seems a bug in youcall system. So for now this seems unlimited..!!

So just have to register with different IP addresses.

I am even facing the same problem with Youcall. It may be a temporary problem in their system.

I guess it cannot be a IP ban (but not very sure)because, I even tried using a different IP(proxy), which is being used with for first time. But again same technical error.

Yesterday, When i tried calling It showed me "you are being called". But now I am not even able to login.

Lets hope it gets corrected soon.

As I said before, it was a temporary problem(error). It has been resolved. Now I am not getting any kind of error. I am able to successfully place a phone call using Youcall.
Enjoy Free Calling.

Off course I am sure, you won't be charged anything by your service provider. These are voip calls, in which voip provider in this case youcall will first call you up, and then your destination. It is like a third party connecting a call b/w two. If you have free incoming in your phone (which is most likely case), you won't be charged anything.

can u tell me how its possible?

June 25, 2008 at 8:48 AM

In order to make multiple accounts, you need to change your IP address. That is use a proxy. Read my post on Method of changing IP address.

how to activate my phone number?
"Your phone number is not yet activated. You will be called now to verify your number. Please dial the following code then." I received the code and I am waiting for the call. No calls I am receiving. My credit is saying 1 euro and i am not able to call anybody since i am not able to activate my SAUDI mobile.
Can you help me to activate my mobile number? Or may be my mobile service provider is not supporting this call?

September 10, 2008 at 1:26 PM

Same problem. Showing 0 euros after registering. Says it needs to verify mobile number. Activation code is displayed. Says it will call my number to verify but no call received. Help please.

October 4, 2008 at 2:23 PM

I got it. I tried with a different number and it called me but when I tried calling the previous number, it said something is terribly wrong. So I guess it does not accept calls to certain numbers. That's bad!
