Tuitalk reduces call duration to 2 min per call to India

I am sure every regular reader of this blog must be aware of Tuitalk. Tuitalker gained much popularity only when it started offering free calls to India (though they were offering free international calls to many other countries about 40).

Tuitalk free international calls offer (specially to India was a big hit). Tuitalk, a Free Pc to Phone calling service, initially it was even offering free India to India calls but later restricted calls from other countries to India. (People of India were restricted from usin Tuitalk software). I myself used the service for a good period of time. Earlier the call duration was of 10 min (it offered 10min/day free minutes).

Tuitalk post has recently received many user comments informing us about the reduction of free minutes. Tuitalk has reduced the call duration to just 2min/per to a max of 3 calls per day. That makes a total of just 6 min per day.....lol. Are they kiddin...???

When the call rates of Pc to Phone services like Nymgo, call rates of Betamax services and even call rates of calling card like Pingo is so less, why would people still go for these 2min/call deal. (this means you save only 2-3 cents...lol..not even Rs 1.).

I guess Tuitalk seriously needs to think about their update. I am sure a lot many people would stop using their free service. I guess either they are not finding advertisers to pay for calls or whatever reason they need to work it out.

Tuitalk does not understand business....by reducing calls to two mins they have taken away two million eye balls from the ads... so they are the one loosing out.... bad move...

ridiculous decision by tuitalk considering indians were their majority customers.

i'm quite sure they lost some significant advertisers as the only ad they have now is that of toyota.

tuitalk gonna loose users. my deep condolence tuitalkkk.

waiting for another tuitalk now.

Absolutely Crap, im in NZ i was not even getting ten 10 minutes just 6 minutes before still i was a godd customer to them and even though sometimes watching the ad the call wont get connected and now they have reduced the same 6 minute call to 3 different 2 minute calls what kind of action they have proceeded and this has made an effect on lot of customers calling to india and if tuitalk is not gonna take any necessary steps to solve this im pretty sure they are gonna loose and "the ship is sinking"

yea, its hard to imagine many indians continuing to use tuitalk unless they're aware of some sorta hack. as far as tuitalk for calls to china and such, its actually improved, get more minutes per day, 18 instead of 10. still hope they secure sum indian advertisers or something and reinstate the old time limits, cuz its one of the few services that offers free calls to india at all.

Tuitalk did have to reduce the call lengths to a few countries, including India, but the good news is that Tuitalk still provides longer call times to over 30 other countries. You can talk for free for up to 18 minutes per day with Tuitalk’s Three for Free plan. You get 3 free international calls per day and up to 6 minutes for each call, depending on the country you are calling. And, this includes free pc-to-landline, pc-to-mobile, mobile-to-landline, and mobile-to-mobile calls. The free mobile calls just depend on the country you are calling which you can check out on the Countries List on the Tuitalk web site.

listen buddy, we arent going to call obama or Osama..we need to tslk to our folks in india, if you can increase that fine otherwise..it is going to be a no go for indian users.
So increasing the talk time to diff countries doesnt make any sense.
